12 WAYS TO USE CUSTOMER CASE STUDIES
1.WEB SITES. Well, of course you’d put them on your Web Site! You could use the case study on the pages of the product your satisfied customer bought.
2. SOCIAL MEDIA.
Tweet it. Facebook it. You know the drill!
What great content to have for consumers, and in-house recognition of the sales team, and pride in your product or service.
4. EMAIL SIGNATURES.
Link to your web site’s page with the story. How about driving an entire email campaign around success stories.
5. SALES LETTERS, BROCHURES.
Yep, direct marketing is a perfect use of case studies.
Run ads featuring how your customers are satisfied. Stop and think – you’ve probably seen one already today. EHarmony was not a successful dating service until they started running ads featuring – you guessed it – happy couples.
7. TRADE SHOWS.
Prove to other companies that you can provide the customer service and reliable products they need in a competitive B2B world.
8. PRESS RELEASES.
A perfect reason to have a press release is a happy customer story that will entertain the readers of a publication. Editors love these.
Case studies are a great way to train new sales people. Use a case study in orientation, for example.
10. VOICE MAIL.
Why play music when your customers are on hold? Tell them a story instead.
11. ANNUAL REPORTS.
Prove you are going the extra mile.
12. CONTRIBUTED ARTICLES.
Boost your credibility and reputation within your industry.
13. INDUSTRY AWARDS.
Include a short version of a case study on the application form.
I know, I promised 12, but I like to bake, so I made it a baker’s dozen. I’ll bet that you can think up more ways to use customer case studies, can’t you?
